Extreme Right network
1997. When King Charles XII’s death was commemorated by The Sweden Democrats’ chairman Mikael Jansson in 1997 he praised Euro Nat – the European far-right “National Democratic” network. When the party the following year published on its website, which other parties were included, the extreme nature of the group was revealed.
In addition to the larger parties, the Front National, Vlams Blok and Movimento Sociale Italiano, one could find some of the most bizarre little racist parties. The Sweden Democrats started to dispute that the organisation they had praised existed and eventually left it after less than two years.
